From Corporate to Coach

With over 14 years of experience in the corporate world, including 11 years navigating the the fast-paced, highly competitive city of New York, I have cultivated a profound understanding of leadership and organizational dynamics. Throughout my career, I consistently gravitated towards leadership positions, showcasing a natural inclination to take charge and make a difference, even in the absence of a formal title. Mentoring and advising others has been an inherent part of my journey, beginning in my college years. 

My firsthand experience working under ineffective, undeveloped, dysfunctional, and toxic leaders ignited a passion within me to create positive change. It led me to seek my own coach over five years ago, which proved to be a transformative turning point. I discovered the power of coaching in unlocking personal and professional growth, and it became my ultimate goal to help individuals and organizations thrive.

With my extensive experience as an ICF credentialed Certified Executive Coach and backed by certifications in Hogan and the American Management Association-Certified Professional in Management®, I bring a unique blend of education, expertise, and business acumen to my coaching practice. With a distinctive blend of education and extensive hands-on experience, I bring a powerful skill set to the table. Holding an M.B.A., I possess a profound understanding of high-level business perspectives and demonstrate the innate ability to see the big picture and understand the dynamics of organizations. My professional journey included delivering white-glove customer service in both the service and finance industries, where I served ultra-high-net-worth clientele. Additionally, as an ICF-trained and credentialed Executive Coach, I completed 135+ classroom hours and 16 supervision and mentoring hours, ensuring that I meet and exceed ICF criteria for providing maximum value to my clients. 

I am a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) and that provides me with the ability to make connections or pick up on subtleties, themes, emotions that might otherwise go unnoticed. My natural temperament and disposition is one of genuine sincerity; I’ve repeatedly been told that I’m able to build immediate, deep rapport, allowing us to go further faster. 

Honesty is my top VIA strength and I don’t shy away from compassionately challenging others for growth and development. I also courageously challenge the status quo. 

It’s at the forefront of my mind to lead by example and model effective behavior on a daily basis, including, but not limited to: effective communication, setting clear expectations, timeliness, stress management, delivering effective feedback, and more. 

I am extremely open-minded, non-judgmental, possess a growth mindset, question everything, and am a lifelong learner. I stay actively involved with professional associations, such as: SHRM, ATD, AMA, and ICF to ensure I stay at the forefront of industry trends and best practices. 

I take a unique, thoughtful, and deliberate approach to my work. My ability to tease out relevant nuances that otherwise go unseen makes me an invaluable asset to your growth arsenal.

Developing leaders and organizations is my true passion; it’s what fuels my fire. I prioritize my clients, prefer to treat them as adults, and believe they are wholly capable and resourceful humans. I also aim for optimal flexibility and allow my clients to dictate what works best for them.
